WooWee Robotics Roboquad review

I decided to take the Roboquad for my children as they were all excited with it. They had played with it once at a friends’ house and they were nagging about getting their own ever since.

Once we ordered it they would wait at the door almost all day long for it to come. Finally the Roboquad arrived and I could get some peace of mind.

I must admit that the package of it was very stylish, made me think if I could use it somewhere. And the Roboquad was safely transferred in there.

They had wrapped it all well making sure that there wouldn’t be any accidents on the way and that the Roboquad would come at your house safe and sound. That pleased quite a lot as I have ordered things online before and sometimes they came all messed up because their package wasn’t well thought of.

I must admit that it took us sometimes to free the Roboquad from its package but it was well worth the wait. Of course, the children had a different opinion. They have been waiting for it all these days and now that they finally had it in their hands they couldn’t release it from the box. Pretty ironic, don’t you think?

Thank God dad was around and he helped us unwind it because he has more patience and skills in such things. But when we finally took it out of the box the excitement of the children cannot be described with words. The Roboquad was making sounds and movements that just made children go crazy with it. They even wanted to sleep with it the first night (and the rest I must say).

However, apart from the enthusiasm we had to read the instructions to make sure that we knew what the buttons on the remote control were for.

And if you follow the instructions you will be amazed with the many things Roboquad can do. He can bark, walk, bow, make funny movements and many more. We just stood there and watched it perform. We couldn’t believe our eyes; after many hours and we still had fun watching it go around. Children would thank me on and on. It was the best present they had taken for years, as they said.

You may be surprised but guess what? Roboquad can actually dance. He will not be able to stop laughing. We couldn’t and just watching it was able to keep as sit for at least an hour.

Also, you can use your roboquad as a security guard. You can make him alert you when someone is going somewhere they shouldn’t. We have Roboquad guard the TV to make sure that the children don’t watch too much. Although now with Roboquad it’s not like we need a guard. Children seldom turn on the TV as it is. They still haven’t decided on the name though. They are arguing a lot about that.
